Student Entrepreneur of the Year This is BYU’s premier student entrepreneur competition. Competitors have the opportunity to gain exposure, opportunities to network, and a variety of other useful things. The top six BYU applicants from the Student Entrepreneur of the Year are entered into the semi-finals of Utah Student 25. Those top applicants will then compete for almost $20,000 in cash and prizes.
Past winners include Jonathan Coon (1-800-CONTACTS), David Bateman (Property Solutions), Adam Edmunds (Allegiance), and Jayson Edwards (J-Dawgs).
Entering Student Entrepreneur of the Year also enters you into Utah Student 25. Utah Student 25 is an opportunity for the finalist of SEOY to compete against finalists from all over Utah and to be honored at an extravagant ceremony, providing the opportunity to make invaluable connections.
